Our friends over at StartSLC and Sustainable Startups hosted Utah's largest grassroots startup festival over the weekend in downtown Salt Lake City! The 3-day event featured numerous startup workshops, keynote presentations, a hackathon, and even a pitch competition with a whopping $250,000 awarded to the best new startup (...regrettably, we missed the deadline to apply). It was an honor to be asked to participate in Saturday's "Tech 4 Good" panel along with Austen Allred from Grasswire (referred to as "The Internet's Newsroom") & Jordan Menzel of CrowdHall (an online venue for crowd-sourced town halls). Looking forward to next year!
